Yes. Backpack Bed for Homeless respects donor privacy and understands that some supporters prefer to remain anonymous.
Privacy and Contact Enquiries
- When you contact us via phone or website form, we only request the details needed to respond to your enquiry (not all fields are mandatory).
- We do not add you to a mailing list unless you specifically request our newsletter.
- We do not call people to solicit donations.
Why We Sometimes Request Donor Details
If you would like a tax-deductible receipt (for donations of $2 or more), we are required to collect certain information in order to comply with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements.
Similarly, if donating by credit card, some personal details are required due to standard banking regulations.
