Did Backpack Bed for Homeless used to be called Swags for Homeless?

Backpack Bed for Homeless was originally founded by Tony Clark in Melbourne in 2007 under the name Swags for Homeless.

As the charity evolved and the product design developed, the organisation rebranded to Backpack Bed for Homeless to better reflect its purpose and the innovative design of the Backpack Bed.

Today, the Backpack Bed is an award-winning emergency relief bed that has been independently studied and shown to improve dignity, health, sleep, warmth, comfort, and safety for people experiencing homelessness.
