Is the Backpack Bed easy to use?

Yes. Backpack Bed for Homeless designed the Backpack Bed to be simple, practical, and durable for people sleeping rough.

Simple Setup & Pack Down
  • Each Backpack Bed includes a picture-based instruction sheet stored in the top pocket.
  • The bedding does not need to be folded neatly — it is simply rolled toward the backpack section and pushed inside.
  • The entire unit can unzip flat, making it easy to shake out dirt and wipe clean.


Lightweight & Comfortable to Carry

Space for Additional Bedding

The backpack section is intentionally larger and expandable, allowing additional bedding to be stored inside to help keep it dry and clean.

In many areas, people experiencing homelessness may access blankets, but these can be difficult to carry and keep dry. Wet bedding does not provide effective protection from cold conditions. The Backpack Bed is designed to offer portable, weather-resistant protection in emergency situations.
